Introduction
Our wine list, like our cuisine, presents a refreshing and eclectic repertoire. In addition to classic European varietals, we also offer wines from independent, boutique producers. Many of our wines are produced by low-volume, small, family-owned wineries, using grapes that are not always typical to that region or country, as with our Gewürztraminer from South Africa. We would like our customers to have as much of an adventure with their wine choice as with their food.
To start off your evening, visit our intimate "Peacock Lounge" (perhaps London's smallest bar) where we offer a selection of unique cocktails. These include the fabulous "Pond Life", our version of a refreshing "Mojito". Vodka, vermouth, elderflower, lime and cointreau are shaken with fresh mint, and who knows, you may even find a little creature lurking in your glass. (All perfectly harmless)
A fter dinner you may be tempted to request a "Visit from the Doctor". A medicine chest of 12 digestive potions that will set you off homewards with a spring in your step. The doctor's concoctions include vodka and vanilla, chocolate liqueur with cherries, sambuca and liquorice, schnapps with 24 carat gold flakes and many more. All served by a gorgeous "doctor" able to cure most ailments.
